Leader as Coach Training
This is a 2 day experiential training that is fun and transforming. Most people learn much more if they actually get to practice as they’re learning – and that’s exactly what we do. Most exercises are done in groups of 2 or 3 where each individual gets to learn about giving and receiving feedback. When feelings come up and hot buttons are pushed, we get to deal with it right then and there instead of just hoping that they can deal with it when the real situation arises.
This training is generally done in two consecutive days, but if you are in the Atlanta area, the training can be done with each day of training being separated by a week or two.
After this training has been completed, attendees will find that they are much more equipped to have a coaching conversation with their direct reports instead of a right/wrong or directional discussion. Of course, training is always ongoing and new situations will always pop up that weren’t discussed in training. Sometimes a quick email or text will solve an issue quickly, but if not, ongoing coaching is available via phone or online.
